In the Spirit of Halloween - The Guillotined Contessa

As mentioned in my previous post on the Contessa Papera Ephemera, here she is regally stepping out at dusk.

Her head resting on the shopping block.

Standing and patiently waiting for the kids to show up on Halloween night.

Perhaps seeing a familiar face in the meantime.

Wishing you all a ghostly Halloween.

That is SO cool! Is it protected by anything waterproof-ish or do you have to make sure you bring it in if it starts to get damp out?

Also, I LOVE your new header. Temporary for Halloween?

Thank you Ashley,
It's not meant to last, but I still want her to be in good shape for Halloween. We are to have a rainy week until thursday so I brought her back in until then.
Yes the header shot is temporary. November will show a new shot of the house in relation to the season.
Thanks for dropping in.

Yes, this is COOL and AWESOME! And I particularly enjoy the fact that you have fashioned different parts of the attire with different sections of the paper. Surely the financial section should be around that slender neck!

Hello Mark,
Too funny! I wish a guillotine could cut my debt down :) Mmmm.... Perhaps she symbolizes more than than meets the eye.

Anyes, she looks SO COOL on your front porch! Great photography, too! I'm sure she will be the talk of the town on Halloween night. Love it!

Thank you so much Pam,
The first one taken at dusk, I'm very happy with. There was a whole bunch of Canada geese in the sky, but my camera did not pick them up - too fare away. Nonetheless, I still like it.

Thank you Gina and Donna,
It was fun to do even if we did not get much kids at the door.
