Victoria Day

Princess Victoria with her spaniel Dash
Painting by George Hayter, 1833
As Victoria Day unofficially marks the beginning of Canadian summer, I thought a fresh-faced Victoria
(14-year-old) for this beautifully warm day would be appropriate.

Happy Victoria Day!

Hi, Anyes — I'm wishing you a happy summer. I know you probably have some house remodeling projects scheduled, but don't overdo! — Mark

Hello from down under (Australia) Anyes!

I came across your blog whilst searching for images of Victorian homes, and I think by now I've almost looked at all your posts.
I'm just a student at the moment still living at home, and everything is so blah, but looking at your blog gives me hope and inspiration for the future so I want to say a big thankyou for sharing! Hope I can find a lovely home like yours one day.

Have a lovely week!

Hello Jehlei,
Welcome to the Dusty Victorian. What a nice surprise to get a visitor from Australia. I got a glimpse at your wonderfully creative blog - certainly not blah :) All that yummy looking food! Summer is very busy for me, but I will go deeper in to it, in my free time. You are very inspiring as well.
Thank you for dropping in,
Anyes
